This project started with a phantom (charcoal + hypoA) male bred to a couple normal motleys, an albino motley, and a stripe female. The normal motleys were bred back in 02 and the stripe and albino motleys were paired up in 2004. (2003 was a dud year for the male...weird eh?)
I held back all the babies from the original pairing in 02 and the first charcoal and phantom motleys were produced in 2005. Yep...I got that lucky 1 in 64 my first year!!! Not so fast Mr. Mohr........in 2006 I got NO charcoal motleys OR phantom motleys! In 2007 I again produced a couple charcoal motleys but no phantom motleys. Odds work great for me one year and then not again!
We'll see what 2008 shows....
