TERMS
General:
Unless otherwise stated, ALL animals are CAPTIVE BORN and MOST are bred at our facility. In some instances we will acquire animals in trades, but only from reputable sources and they will not be resold unless they are in perfect health.
Shipping:
I am authorized to ship live harmless reptiles via Fed-Ex to your door and prices start at $49. I am also Delta certified and can ship via the airlines for $75. I DO NOT charge box fee nor do I charge to add heat/ice packs if needed. I only ship to the continental UNITED STATES!
Payment:
I accept Paypal and POSTAL Money orders ONLY. I also can take Mastercard and Visa over the phone (or at shows) if you prefer to go that route. I will NOT take checks. Too many fake ones floating around and my bank charges a fee if I try to cash it. Also, if you live in Africa, do not e-mail me. I will not be part of your scam!
Guarantee:
I guarantee live arrival of all animals provided you are there to receive the shipment on the FIRST attempt (Fed-Ex) or pick up the animal with 2 hours (Delta). If you are receiving your shipment via Fed-Ex and have a signature release on file, I will not guarantee live arrival unless I'm contacted within 15 minutes of Fed-Ex's delivery time. This is because with a signature release Fed-Ex can leave the package anywhere.....in the sun, in a snow bank, under a car tire etc... and that means the package could have been sitting there for hours before you picked it up. In all other cases, if the animal is Dead On Arrival I must be informed within 2 hours and you need to provide photographs and may need to return the dead specimen. Photographs should clearly show the animal AND that it is Dead...i.e. in water upside down etc. I do not anticipate a problem as I have never had an animal arrive dead.
All animals come with a five (5) day money back refund if you are not completely satisfied. I will reimburse the full cost of the snake (less shipping) provided the animal is returned to me in the SAME condition as received. I.e. if you put a corn on cedar bedding (BIG NO NO) and it develops a respiratory problem...I cannot give you your money back. If you dog bites it. No refund. If you close its head in the cage door. No refund.
After the 5 day money back period, I offer a 25 day health guarantee. If there is a problem and the animal is being appropriately taken care of, I will offer a replacement or credit. If you experience a problem, please contact me when the problem occurs...not on day 30 and tell me it has been having such-and-such a problem since you got it. I'd rather have too many e-mails from you than not enough! Again, like the Dead On Arrival thing, I have not had that happen nor have I had to implement this guarantee. My animals are well taken care of and I do not anticipate a problem.
NOTE: The 5 day money back and 25 day 'extended warranty' only apply to animals purchased at retail listed prices and are not available on out of the egg animals, wholesale orders, or if otherwise stated.
Laws:
I will not knowingly ship and animal to an illegal zone. Please know your local and state laws. You are responsible for this information. Although I try to check for you, I cannot find every code and law. For example: no burms to NY and no corns to GA. Don't ask to break the laws either!
Animal take back policy:
If you cannot care for an animal you purchased from me, please do NOT let it go. If you cannot find a home for it I will take it FREE of charge. In fact, if you are in desperate straights, I may even send you an airbill # so shipping will be free. Do NOT let pets go! Even if corns live where you do...do not let them go. Help keep this hobby respectable and responsible. Do not ruin it for all of us.
